How the activity runs

  1. Gather all materials on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Connect one wire to the positive terminal of the battery.
  3. Attach the other end of the wire to one terminal of the bulb.

Try it with your learner

1. Connect one wire from the battery's positive terminal to the light bulb's base. 2. Attach the second wire from the light bulb's side to one terminal of the switch. 3. Connect another wire from the other terminal of the switch back to the battery's negative terminal. 4. Secure all connections with tape to keep them in place. 5. Flip the switch to see if the light bulb lights up. 6. What did you notice?
