Hands-on activities engage children and make learning memorable. By testing their senses, they connect theory to real-life experiences.
1. Gather a blindfold, a scented object, a sound-making toy, a tasty snack, and a textured item. 2. Put on the blindfold and cover your eyes. 3. Use your other senses to guess the scented object. 4. Listen carefully to the sound-making toy and identify the sound. 5. Taste the snack and describe its flavor. 6. Feel the textured item and explain what it feels like. What did you notice?
