Gravity and free fall.
Replicating a famous historical experiment creates a direct link between the student's action and the scientist's original discovery. The counter-intuitive result (mass does not affect fall rate) is one of the most important lessons in overcoming perceptual bias — the most important skill in both science and critical thinking.
1. Hold two objects at same height. 2. Drop simultaneously. 3. Observe. 4. Record. 5. Repeat 5 times.
