Cell division mitosis.
Drawing each stage of mitosis in sequence requires students to hold the process in working memory long enough to reproduce it — a significantly more demanding cognitive task than colouring a pre-drawn diagram. Sequential art-making creates procedural memory for a process that needs to be understood in order.
